YaaraPay (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data we process. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the YaaraPay mobile application (the “App”).
1. IMPORTANT: FINANCIAL SERVICES DISCLAIMER
YaaraPay is a utility tool for live streamers and content creators.
- Not a Bank: YaaraPay is NOT a bank, financial institution, payment processor, or money transmitter.
- No Credentials: We never ask for, collect, or store your bank account numbers, login credentials, passwords, or PINs.
- No Transactions: The App cannot move money or perform financial transactions. It only "reads" text from system notifications to trigger visual alerts on your stream.
2. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
To provide its core functionality, YaaraPay accesses and processes the following data:
A. Notification Data (Sensitive Access)
The App uses the Android Notification Listener Service to detect payment alerts from specific banking and financial applications you have enabled in the settings.
- Data Processed: Transaction amount, sender name, and the name of the banking app.
- Purpose: This data is used solely to extract this information and transmit it to your configured StreamElements account to trigger a visual overlay on your livestream.
- Retention: This data is stored locally on your device in a private database. It is NOT uploaded to our servers.
B. Device Information
We may collect non-identifying information about your mobile device, such as your device model and operating system version, to verify licensing and "Pro" status.
C. In-App Purchase Data
If you purchase the "Pro" version, the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We receive a "Purchase Token" to verify your status, but we do not see your credit card or payment method details.
3. THIRD-PARTY DATA SHARING
We only share data with the following services to ensure app functionality:
- StreamElements: Encrypted details are sent directly to your unique StreamElements JWT endpoint via HTTPS.
- Google AdMob: The free version uses AdMob for advertisements. AdMob may collect your advertising ID and usage data for personalized ads.
- Google Play Services: Used for app updates, licensing, and security checks.
4. DATA SECURITY
We use industry-standard security measures (Secure HTTPS and encrypted local storage) to protect your data. Your alert history remains exclusively on your phone.
5. USER CONTROLS AND DELETION
You can delete all processed alert history via the "Clear All Alert History" button in Settings. Uninstalling the App will also remove all locally stored data.
6. ADVERTISING
You can manage ad preferences via your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
